TGIF Colour Challenge

I was selected as the winner of last week's TGIF Challenge!  These challenges have been an amazing kickstart to my creativity--no more wondering where to start.  I am very appreciative of the time the TGIF team puts into running this challenge, and thrilled to have another week's inspriation.

This week's challenge is a colour challenge, and it is not my traditional colour palette!  However, I was ready to think outside the holiday-box and decided to make a floral wedding card with this combination.

I think there is a special magic at holiday weddings, as they gleam and shine and give us another reason to celebrate.  So while I have been immersed in Christmas cards for the last several weeks I knew I could slightly switch gears and make the perfect card for a holiday wedding as my card for the Stampin' Symphony Celebrate Blog Hop:

Our blog hop theme this month was summer and DSP, which to me means a beautiful wedding card!  I am thrilled with how my project turned out, using some of my favourite new products.

Expressions In Ink Best Wishes

My heart goes out to all of the couples who have tried to get married in the last 18 months, having to postpone, postpone, replan, and postpone, their weddings.  I hope they are comforted by knowing how much more special that day will be when it finally comes!  And what better way to help them celebrate then a one-of-a-kind card?!

I don't usually gravitate to abstract images but I couldn't resist the beautiful ink spots and splatters in the Expressions In Ink Suite.  And the gorgeous detailed dies sealed the deal!
