Stamping Symphony Last Chance Instahop

Well here we are halfway through April already, which also means it's time for another Stamping Symphony Team Instahop.  This month we are saying goodbye to our favourite retiring products, which you'll find on the "last chance" list in the online store.  One of my favourite die sets ever--the gorgeous Artistic Dies--are not only retiring this year, but they are on sale for 50% off!  I used them in this card as a celebration of how beautiful they are:

Before I get started on the details of my card this month, don't forget that this is an Instahop!  You can head to my Instagram page to find the links to the projects the rest of the team has for you this month and be inspired to grab a few items before they are gone forever. :)

This card is actually very simple, with the dies doing all the work!  I started with a Thick Basic White Cardstock base (4.25" x 11", scored at 5.5") and added a panel of Bubble Bath Cardstock (4" x 5.25").   I then took a Basic White Cardstock panel (3-7/8" x 5-1-/8") and splattered it with ink from my Bubble Bath and Smoky Slate Blends markers.  This panel was layered onto the card base as well.

My focal image is the large detailed die from the Artistic Dies set, which was cut twice and layered behind some stitched layering rectangles.  I also stamped and die cut a flower and some leaves from the coordinating Artistically Inked Stamp Set in Bubble Bath and Soft Sea Foam Inks, which adds just a little bit of soft colour to the card.

Finally, I added a black and white twine bow and some rhinestones for sparkle.

The sentiment "you're simply marvelous" is also from a retiring set, Perennial Postage, and is stamped in Smoky Slate Ink.

Thanks for stopping by today, I'd love for you to leave me a comment before heading to Instagram to follow the rest of the hop.  :)

Happy Crafting,
Barb
