A new year always start out with some anticipation for the special events that are expected ahead. Whether it is a wedding, the birth of a baby, a graduation, or a milestone birthday or anniversary, there is always something to look forward to. The Stampin' Friends Life's Special Occasions Blog Hop is here to help inspire you with cards to celebrate those special events.
This card can be used to celebrate so many special occasions with this sentiment from the new Sentimental Park Stamp Set. I stamped "let's celebrate" in Crumb Cake Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and die cut it with a pierced die from the coordinating Sentimental Park Dies. I also stamped some flowers in Blushing Bride Ink on the label to match my card base.
To build my card I started with a Blushing Bride Cardstock base and added a gorgeous detailed die overlay from the Two-Tone Flora Dies in Basic White.
I die cut another label from the Sentimental Park Dies and added it with Dimensionals to the centre of my card, and then I stamped and die cut some flowers from the Two-Tone Flora Stamp Set in Blushing Bride Ink, as well as some leaves in Mint Macaron Ink. My prepared smaller label was then added to the top with Dimensionals. All those layers really add to the depth and impact of this card!
Finally, I added some Brushed Brass Butterflies to the card--they are the perfect sophisticated touch for any card with flowers!
