Lacey Goodness (Stamping Symphony Blog Hop)

One of the most overlooked new items in the Occasions catalogue is the beautiful Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder.  I used it recently on my card for the International Blog Hop, but once I got started playing with it I couldn't stop!  So I decided to feature it on my card for today's team blog hop as well. :)

This time I layered a lace white panel on to a white card base, giving my card a very soft, feminine look.

With such a beautiful background I wanted to keep the rest of my card very simple, so I added a small square (using my stitched dies of course!), and then layered my flowers above it with dimensionals.

I used the new Painted Seasons stamp set, which is only available until March 31 and is earned for free!  This set is incredible, and has images to use all year long (the pinecone is one of my favourites).

I inked the beautiful flower in Rich Razzleberry--that's right, ONE colour gets you that gorgeous image!  That's because this set is made with a new, patent-pending Distinktive process:  "The stamps made with this distinktive process lay down the ink at different opacities giving the finished image more depth. There’s nothing tricky about how to apply the ink: just ink the surface lightly for a perfect photographic finish."

I don't know the science, I just know it works and looks amazing. :)  And even better--April's Paper Pumpkin Kit is going to include a new Distinktive stamp set!!!  If you aren't currently a subscriber, click here to register so you don't miss out.

That's it for me this month, but be sure to check out the other great projects by hopping along:

Everything I am (International Blog Hop)

It's time for another International Blog Hop!  Thanks so much for stopping by my page to see my entry and hopefully vote for my card. ;)  The link for voting is http://bit.ly/KyliesMarch2019HighlightsVoteForMeHere and you can vote for all your favourites by clicking on the little heart on the top right of the thumbnail picture.

I love the look of Melon Mambo and Basic Black together but I typically make cards with softer colours, so it was definitely time to break out some brights!

I used the new lace embossing folder which adds so much texture to the background of this card.  I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a punched piece of black, and then layered oodles of die cuts behind it (using punches and dies) in vellum, white, and silver glimmer.

I anchored my sentiment with a strip of Basic Black shimmer ribbon, which also keeps the sparkle going across the whole card front.

Thanks for stopping by!  If you like my card please consider voting for it here:   http://bit.ly/KyliesMarch2019HighlightsVoteForMeHere by clicking the little heart in the top right corner of the thumbnail picture on Kylie's page.
